Today we visited Oli Oli. We learned that we need to work collaboratively in order to complete a task. We also had to design and build a tower that was taller than us. It was a lot of fun and the kiddos really enjoyed the science experiment about solid, liquid, and gas. Ask us about it...

Students have started to learn about the human body and how it is made up of different systems. This day we learned about the skeletal system. We will be adding to skeletons as we continue learning about different systems. You can speak to your children about why is our skeleton is important (it supports our body and it protects our organs). The main bones we focused on was the skull, ribs or rib cage and the spine.
Students created puppets to identify characters and then performed a puppet show to retell the story! They had a lot of fun!!!
Today students explored light and dark. The worked together as a group and discussed what they observed and recorded their findings, like real scientists.
Today students heard the story of The Wolf in Sheep's Clothing. They were introduced to the vocabulary word disguise and then recreated the wolfs disguise. I was also in disguise for most of the lesson ;)
Students heard the fable 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf' they also learned about what a story plot is and how they can retell a story.
